Sports Trainers
The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club is seeking Sports Trainers for the 2022 season.
Responsibilities
Ideally will be an Osteopathy or Physiotherapy student, but other areas are welcome.
Required to assist with preparing players through taping and/or soft tissue work and assess and provide the appropriate management of acute injuries (e.g. assess soft tissue injuries, concussion assessments).
Required to report and record all medical encounters with a player
Keen to be involved within a great sporting environment and develop necessary skills
Required to work either with another trainer or individually with a specific team, ranging from Under 19s to Senior Men and Women.
Further Information
Candidate will need to be available for both training nights (Monday and Wednesday until March 2022, Tuesday and Thursday from then on) as well as game day (Saturday).
Candidate must be an accredited Level 1 Sports Trainer certificate (see sma.org.au)
