Congratulations to Will Campitelli & Stefan Nadalin who will play in their 100th & 50th games this weekend!
Congratulations to Will Campitelli on reaching 100 fantastic games.
To truly describe Campa at 100 games, you’d have to picture Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera lining up against local footballers that’s the level he brings!
I first got to know Campa back in Year 7 footy. Even then, I knew he was someone you could trust to get the job done, and that belief still holds true today.
Over the years, Campa has proven he can play multiple roles. His ability to read the play, find space, and use the ball with precision makes him one of the most reliable and damaging players at the club. A great example of his dedication came as recently as the weekend against Fitzroy, when our backs were against the wall. A long ball came his way, and he found himself outnumbered two to one — a situation that almost always favours the opposition. But Campa took to the skies, outmarked both opponents, and made a statement to his teammates: he’s always willing to put his body on the line, no matter the situation.
Congratulations, Campa, on this outstanding achievement 100 games is a well-deserved milestone, with hopefully many more to come.

It’s a great honour to be writing about one of my good mates, ‘Campa’, as he prepares for his 100th game of footy at Marcellin.
I have known Campa since high school, but over the past six years since I joined the club, our friendship has grown stronger than ever, and I think that just goes to show what a great place Marcellin is to be.
I now confidently call him one of my best mates- someone I love playing footy with and someone I can talk to about anything- or just rant about the Sainters.
Since joining MOCFC in 2018, Campa has had his fair share of soft tissue injuries, always keeping the physios on their toes, and putting the massage table to good use. Despite the setbacks, he’s always stayed committed to playing footy with his mates.
Campa’s always doing the work to get his body right, and it’s not just at training, he’s often in the gym before work and does extra running.
Off the field, he quietly does his part to help the club out, assisting with all the graphics and ads for the social media page, and like all our other awesome volunteers, he never makes a fuss of it, he just does his bit because he’s a bloody good bloke.
I can’t wait to celebrate Campa’s 100th game, whether that’s running out alongside him in the reserves, watching him dominate with his silky skills, or cheering on from the sidelines as he plies his trade in the senior team.
Whatever team it is, I know he’ll give his all like he always does, and hopefully the boys can cap off this milestone game with a nice win. Good luck mate, I can’t wait to have a beer after the game and celebrate properly!

Congratulations to Stefan Nadalin—better known around the club as “Steffy” or “Nadzy” on reaching the terrific milestone of 50 games played for the Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club.
I’ve been fortunate to play alongside Steffy for a number of years, both at junior level and at Marcellin. Steffy has always been an incredibly reliable defender locking down a variety of different key forwards over the years, which is why former reserves coach Tom Black affectionately named him ‘the Rock of Gibraltar’. Though despite being a stalwart in defence, Steffy is also a highly skilled footballer who, with ball in hand, breaks lines out of the backline through pinpoint kicking and a willingness to take the game on.
Steffy is also one of the most courageous footballers most at Marcellin would have played with which recently has been to his own detriment, given the number of injuries he has sustained in the last few seasons (not only on the football field). However, Steffy’s commitment to the club has never wavered despite his recent injuries. He remains a constant presence at training and club functions and is always willing to lend a hand as a volunteer for the betterment of the club. You’ll always see Steffy whether it’s with his shoulder in a sling or his purple thumb strapped still contributing, either by doing the scoring for the reserves or volunteering as a runner for the seniors. Steffy is truly an example of a person of what makes football clubs so special.
Steffy is a genuinely good person and one of the most loyal and caring friends anyone could ask for. Which is why the club was so fortunate in 2022 when Steffy returned to Marcellin, following several unsuccessful attempts to recruit him away from Heidelberg. But thankfully he returned home to the Nest.
Congrats Steffy on 50 games, and I hope to play many more with you into the future at Marcellin!
I just ask that you please do not injure yourself at work before Saturday, however it would be fun to lodge a workers compensation claim against Rush Projects.
