The Eagles partner with OSVI for the next 3 years

The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club is thrilled to announce a three-year partnership with OrthoSport Victoria (OSVi) for the provision of Strengh and Conditioning and physiotherapy services, as well as off-site benefits such as orthopaedic surgeons, biomechanic testing, strength and conditioning gym access, allied health services, a sports injury emergency clinic and ongoing rehab support.

OSVI is based in Richmond and offers a unique approach to musculoskeletal healthcare where patients benefit from the combined skills of internationally recognised orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians and doctors, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, strength & conditioning coaches, podiatrists, clinical pilates and highly trained clinical researchers. The directors at OSVI, being Mark Graham, Cameron Norsworthy (Knee Surgeon), Richard Taylor (Physiotherapist) and Lawrence Furlan, all have a long association with the Eagles, with each of them having played Bald Eagles over the past few season.

This partnership combines top-tier strength, conditioning and physiotherapy services with access to OSVi’s cutting-edge facilities, ensuring the Eagles players achieve peak performance and effective recovery. This is an important strategic partnership focusing on the ongoing support of the players, families and extended families associated with the wider community, and the club believes it is an added benefit which will assist with prospective recruiting for the future.

Through OSVi, the Eagles will have access to the following:

  • A dedicated Strength and Conditioning Coach throughout the next three seasons.
  • Dedicated physiotherapists throughout the next three seasons, including discounted physiotherapy sessions at OSVi’s clinic for any additional treatment.
  • Half-price gym membership ($39.50 per week) for all players.
  • Discounted Allied Health services.
  • A Sports Injury Emergency Clinic available to all players.
  • Access to world-class recovery pathways through OSVi’s advanced musculoskeletal healthcare network.

The club will be working with Marcellin College to identify how OSVi’s can also support the College’s sports programs on an ongoing basis.

If you wish to learn more about this partnership, or for any questions, please reach out to Michael Dillion (Football Director) 0419 549 489 or David Howe (President) 0411 138 982.
