Our last game of the 2024 season will see Zane Williams play his 50th game! Congratulations to Zin on the milestone.
Big weekend for our last game of the year with Zin’s 50th. Extra impressive considering how quickly Zane was able to reach this milestone.
Zane played all types of sport throughout high school and his competitive nature has allowed himself to spend plenty of games this year in the ones. He’s always been a speedster featuring in the 100m final many times representing the mighty Lavalla house, and it’s great to see Zane use his pace out on the footy field. He’s always putting in 100% at every contest and you can always be sure he’ll have a red hot crack.
One thing about Zane is that he is a man who is very injury prone, but seems to recover unbelievably quick from injuries. He’s probably dislocated his finger about 10 times this year, at training and during games, and he just pops it back in and keeps playing. Also who could forget when Zane did his MCL and played the next week. Possibly the quickest recovery of all time.
He’s always putting his best foot forward, and is always looking to improve and get the most out of his footy. It’s been a pleasure playing alongside Zin at marcellin and I cant wait to see him continue to flourish at this club.
Go well this weekend mate.
