Congratulations to Anthony Radatti and Sebastian Bartholomeusz who play their 50th games this weekend!
Anthony Radatti
A big weekend in footy with the Stat man playing his 50th game. Not only have I had the pleasure of being at the footy club with stats, but we also went through high school together. We’ve had some bloody good memories over the years on and off the field, and I can confidently say we’ll have plenty more.
Stats came to the club with not a high expectation of playing senior footy, but came down to enjoy a kick with his mates. But his work ethic and attitude, and the want to get better over pre season enabled him to put his hand up for senior selection and have the opportunity to play senior footy. Something I know he’s proud of, and so am I (and he’s mates around him)
Stats is a bloke you want at a football club, and we’re bloody lucky to have him with us.
Go well stata, looking forward to many more games (and beers) to come.

Sebastian Bartholomeusz
Congratulations Sebastian ‘Baz’ Bartholomeusz, with 42 countries visited and 41 games played over the last 4 seasons precisely, he’s made it to 50 games. With Instagram posts about his travels saying ‘16,000km away from having to watch Dougal Howard every week’, one wouldn’t have blamed him for knocking up 50 countries before games. Whilst some say their favourite time of week is playing our great game, mine would certainly be crossing paths at half time or full time if we were in different teams and having the opportunity to let him know the Saints are down 50.
But in all seriousness, I’m stoked to be doing your write-up this week, Seb. Good clubs are built on good people, and he’s certainly one of them. I was desperate to get him over from Banyule for a couple of years, and they fought just as hard to keep him—and for good reason. Having known Seb since primary school, he’s always played with an edge that I envy. Whether it’s up forward, out on a wing (graveyard shift) or off half-back, your tank, skills, and versatility have made you a massive asset. And unlike myself in recent years, he’s also never missed a beat, showcasing his durability with limited/no injuries forcing him to miss.
Off-field he’s genuinely an awesome bloke, one that gets along with everyone at the club and checks in frequently with those he’s close to. It’s also been a pleasure to watch Seb grow fond of the club and genuinely bleed Maroon and Blue. He’s become a player I know others look up to and love to play with. So as a result, we’re all extremely excited to see you reach your first milestone as a result, with many more to come (as long as the travel bug stays away). So go well and we’ll celebrate with a few beers afterwards!
