Coaching Position Opening 2024 – Senior Mens Head Coach
The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club is seeking applications for the position of Senior Mens Head Coach for the 2024 season.
The Marcellin Old Collegians Football Club was established in 1968 and has been a successful and competitive club within the Victorian Amateur Football Association in its 55 year history. In 2024 we will field 5 teams – Senior Mens, Senior Womens, Reserves Mens, Thirds Mens and Under 19s.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the performance of the Men’s Senior team
Providing leadership to all players and coaches within the Mens football program
Leading player development as well as team selection
Driving player recruitment on a coordinated basis with the Football Director
Leading and organising both training and game days
Building and developing relationships with players, coaches, committee members and key stakeholders
Setting standards for both coaches and players
Key Criteria
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Passion for the development of Men’s football program
Previous experience in coaching at a high level
Level 1 AFL coaching accreditation or higher
Working with Childrens Check
